Scientific programs

All of these are now outdated, so I have removed links.
They were very useful in their time (early 90's), but many better programs exist now.
I am mainly keeping this page for historical reasons.

Extrac20.zip Version 2.0 of Extract (new and improved).
Size: 30,674 bytes

Ext.zip Expanded version of extract. Does DNA sequences and protein sequences. Still for DOS.
Size: 35,261 bytes

Invert.zip Small program which will read DNA sequence from a file and write it to another file in opposite order. Also it will save it as the complementary strand if requested.

Cats20.zip Program that corrects results of liquid phase CAT assays for remained toluene and counts from the blank. It also calclulates times fold for different samples comparing them to one sample designated as one fold.
